1st Day: New York City

Upon arriving in New York, we meet our tour escort and transfer to our hotel, located in the heart of Manhattan, where we have accommodations for the next 3 evenings. 2nd Day: New York City

Today’s tour begins with a focus on Lower Manhattan. As we drive through the city’s many “neighborhoods” we see Chelsea, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Tribeca, Chinatown, the Financial District and Wall Street. We’ll see Little Italy and the Lower East Side, where so many of America’s immigrants settled in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. We’ll also visit the 9/11 Memorial at Ground Zero and get to see St. Paul’s Chapel at Trinity Church, which miraculously survived the collapse of the Twin Towers. Our evening is free to enjoy the delights of the “City That Never Sleeps” (we can make arrangements for an evening performance of your favorite Broadway Show if you wish).

3rd Day: New York City

We take a tour of New York in which we get an insider’s view of the city. During our tour of “uptown” Manhattan we see, among other things, Broadway, Times Square, the Empire State Building, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Grand Central Station, Central Park and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts as well as the bastion of townhouses, mansions and apartment buildings on the Upper West Side. You will enjoy the festive holiday atmosphere of this exciting city, from the delightful Christmas displays in the windows of the fabulous stores on Fifth Avenue and the world famous Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Center to the ever-present street vendors and entertainers. Ah, I can almost smell those roasted chestnuts already. The excitement continues as we visit Radio City Music Hall to enjoy a performance of the spectacular Christmas Show, featuring the world famous Rockettes. You’ll see classic numbers like the incredible Parade of the Wooden Soldiers and be thrilled as cutting edge technology transforms the interior of Radio City into a magical holiday canvas that you just have to see to believe.
