1st Day: Mesquite, Nevada

We board our plane for the flight to Las Vegas. Upon arrival we drive north through Valley of Fire State Park, so named because of the bright red Aztec sandstone outcrops nestled among gray and tan limestone edifices and ancient, petrified trees and petroglyphs. We continue on to our hotel in Mesquite, Nevada, where we check into our hotel for the evening and enjoy a delicious welcome dinner.

2nd Day: Springdale, Utah

Following breakfast we drive to Zion National Park, one of America’s treasures. Zion gives one a remarkable sense of nature’s majesty as we view its massive multi-colored Navajo Sandstone mountains, wildlife and areas rich with beautiful foliage, waterfalls and streams. This extraordinary park includes canyons, buttes, monoliths, rivers and natural arches, which are all on abundant display during our tour. Dinner is prepared for us tonight in Springdale, Utah, where we have accommodations.

3rd Day: Kanab, Utah

Breakfast begins another day during which you will want to have your cameras ready; we drive through some magnificent country as we make our way to Bryce National Park. One of America’s most spectacular parks, one is immediately impressed with the awesome rock formations for which Bryce is known. These incredible “hoodoos” appear as if Mother Nature took a copying machine and made copies of miraculously sculptured monuments. Rich colors and spectacular vistas make our visit a most memorable occasion. We drive to Kanab, Utah where we have accommodations for the next 2 evenings. Another fine dinner is included this evening.

4th Day: Kanab, Utah

Following breakfast we drive to one of the world’s greatest wonders – the Grand Canyon. Just looking out over this remarkable landscape is an experience of unimaginable beauty. Carved out by the flow of the mighty Colorado River, the canyon is as much as 10 miles wide and extends more than 270 miles in length. The views and colors of the rock formations and foliage change dramatically at every vantage point. Whether looking out across the vast expanse from the visitor center or walking along one of its trails, when seeing the Grand Canyon first-hand one cannot help but come away with a sense of awe. Plan on enjoying a wonderful dinner in one of Kanab’s best restaurants tonight.

5th & 6th Day: Las Vegas, Nevada

After a hearty breakfast we drive south, to the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” Las Vegas. Accommodations tonight and tomorrow are perfectly situated right in the heart of Las Vegas on the famous “Strip.” We have many options during our two free days in Vegas. One of the most delightful options is to just stroll through the marvelous new hotels. Another is to take in a matinee Las Vegas revue show or perhaps visit the Freemont Experience in Old Town Las Vegas. The evenings present a multitude of choices with so many lounge shows and feature performances to choose from. And then again, there are the casinos.
