Our adventure continues as we board the Norwegian Breakaway for a 9 night cruise that makes its first stop in Cannes, the glamorous seaside town located on the French Riviera and host to the annual Cannes Film Festival, before making a memorable 2 night visit to Livorno (Florence, Italy) – the birthplace of the Renaissance and home of, among other things, the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio and Michelangelo’s “David.” On to another cruise highlight with a visit to the “Eternal City,” Rome … the Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the Colosseum, Pantheon and so much more. And when we dock in Naples you may choose to visit this exciting city or perhaps take an excursion to see the ruins of the ancient city of Pompeii. Our incredible cruise continues with a visit to Cagliari on the Italian island of Sardinia as well as making stops at two lovely Spanish islands off the Iberian Peninsula, Ibiza and Majorca before returning to Barcelona.
